Tonight I discovered how to add the snippet (Google +1) to my website (dianegoodwin.com). I liked how I added the code to my index.html page, uploaded through Fetch and refreshed the site in Google ... BOOM ... at the top of the page appeared the snippet ... not so difficult.
After I clicked on the snippet, my Gmail profile image appeared as a tiny, tiny thumbnail. It appeared on my Google+ page as well. Here is the link and make sure to scroll to bottom of page where plenty of helpful links exist explaining Google +1 and much more .... http://bit.ly/sPaYtU
